So today is Monday and Tanya’s 5th post-operative day and I have to say that she is doing wonderfully. My only concern now is that she’ll over-extend herself because she feels so good. It’s a relief to have this over with but for those of you who know me, it will be no surprise that with that relief has come the migraine headache. blech.

We also spent the better part of last night sitting in the emergency room while Michael got x-rayed for possible pneumonia which turned out to be a bad case of bronchitis. He’s perfectly fine, he just feels crummy. Same thing that happened to me at the beginning of this year, in fact.

I’m really glad that this will be another short week. We still haven’t decided if we’re cooking a full-on turkey or just going to throw a turkey breast in an oven bag. Initially, Michael wanted to cook the bird but I’m not sure if he’ll be up for that now. I may have to make a pie. Christopher has inspired me to maybe do some seasonal cooking.
