Quickie

Just a fast update to let ya’ll know that we have delayed our return to Atlanta in order to attend the funeral of Tanya’s maternal grandfather, who passed away Friday. We’ll be in Tulsa until late Tuesday/early Wednesday, with the hope of being back at work Thursday morning.

Her grandfather was a retired fire chief and the funeral will include an honor guard and bagpipes, with all the pomp and circumstance those things bring. Should be quite an impressive event. The family is dealing about as well as you can expect. It was not sudden but things like this are awful no matter how long you’ve known it was coming.
