GRR

I sat in a cold parking lot for 20 minutes this morning waiting for nobody to show up and open the gym. This has happened a few times before and it’s maddening. As if getting up at 5 a.m. to exercise isn’t hard enough without this crap. Not such a good fitness start for 2004.

We did, however, have an otherwise lovely time celebrating the end of 2003 with Katie and Nicole, including a 1 a.m. stint in the hot tub, amazing steaks on Katie’s excellent new grill and several of the largest margaritas I’ve ever seen. Followed up by a slightly hungover, completely exhausted New Years Day dinner with the Hollands, of which I have only this grainy photographic evidence from my Palm:

And now I’m off to prepare for my last day at work. I have to ditch a few hours this morning in order to go pee in a cup for the new job and then I think I’m going to horse around as much as possible. I think there will be about four of us in the building today. I’m only going at all because I want their money and to say goodbye to some folks. Who knows, maybe I’ll blog something else.
