The Hot Button Issue of the 2004 Presidential Election

Sarah Holland bitched about this the other day and she’s right, this issue is going to be THE most debated and devisive matter this year at the expense of a great many more important things. Like say, the war. And that bothers me just as much as it bothers her. And while I continue to not want to write big lengthy entries about my feelings on the subject, I will say that many of the objections raised by senators that are outlined in this article echo my own sentiments. I continue to be amazed at the success of the accustion that my relationship somehow threatens the foundation of marriage in its civil context. People say it and people believe it and yet nobody can explain it. The mind boggles.
