This is an appropriate shot to post today on Katie’s 32 birthday. Look there, I thought I had a muscle! HA! We were just too butch for school. Gah!

Katie started this whole memory lane process on Friday by telling her partner, Nicole, the story of my kleptomania during our freshman year. I stole a doll from a Mexican restaurant in Tampa on a lark and there were certain folks who were quite put out by my behavior. Still are for the most part.

Is this the face of a heartless sinner? I ask you.

Shannon came to lunch yesterday and brought me an hysterical book about chickens. I can’t explain it. I’m still laughing my ass off over it. She asked if I was going to post pictures of her in this entry. But of course!

We went to college in Florida. All the cool kids wore their shades to graduation. I was very happy on graduation day and it didn’t have a thing to do with graduation or Shannon.

Later that day Shannon’s father gave me a $50 graduation gift. I hardly knew the man at the time and frankly, it was one of the most touching moments of the weekend for me. Even though I joked at the time that it was part of the installment arrangement we had for me putting up with her ass for the past two years.

And then there’s this. What is wrong with me, I ask you?
