I clean, I shop, I cook, I take out the trash!

I had a few phone calls and e-mails yesterday relating to possible employment, which were very reassuring. Nothing as brilliant as an actual job offer, but enough interest and activity to leave me with a sense that such offers may be around the bend.

We’ll be out of town this weekend. I am ashamed to admit that I’m actually disappointed that this means missing Saturday night’s OSU game. We’ll be having a super time but I wish the game had been on last Saturday instead. I want my cake, so to speak.

I could not feel worse for my poor, hurricane weary friends in Florida.
