Ice Storm: December 2004

Digging Out
As you can see and as you may have heard on the news, we’ve got a lot of snow. I don’t actually ever remember going through an ice storm before so this experience has been fairly novel for me and I may write more about it later. For now, we are okay, having gone without power from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. yesterday and are getting ready to load the car and head to my parent’s for Christmas.
We also got new phone numbers yesterday so if anyone is getting weird messages when they try to call us, fear not. Drop an e-mail and I’ll update you faster, otherwise, I’ll send the new info out just as soon as we get a lull in activity and a minute or two to spare.
Love and miss you all and a Merry Happy to you this holiday season.

Merry Happy to you and Tanya, too!
