Begging

My friend Laura, of Shannon and Laura, from whom I just purchased Lucy the truck, is in training to participate in Boston’s Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. While I was with them last weekend Laura completed a 14-mile day of training while Shannon and I farted around and got to be lazy.

My sister, Emily, participated in this event a few years back and I hit some of you up for fundage at that time, so I am more than happy to throw a little linking love Laura’s way and add a Breast Cancer 3-Day button to this site. Clicking it will direct you to Laura’s fundraising page where you can find out more information about the event and hopefully leave her a donation, big or small, to help her on her way towards that goal.

To my family I say, This is the woman who just provided me with transportation and then bailed my ass out in Buffalo when the clutch went. Additionally, we all know what a terrific cause this is and the blood, sweat and tears that go into preparing your body for three-days of walking.

And thus I say: THROW MONEY AT LAURA!

She’ll also write you a very nice thank-you note because she was raised proper.

  2. Yup, already done. But I’m glad you’re plugging it. I think maybe I’ll put a button up, too.

  4. Thanks, Amy! You’re the best! Some people pay to exercise. Now people can pay the Komen Foundation and I’ll exercise for them. Offer only good until July.
