Survivor Week 2

So apparently this is going to be the Survivor blog. I wrote a big long wedding entry for the journal today, which I will post when I get home tonight. In the meantime, I’m gearing up for the Granola Bar! Smuggled food always makes for a great night of reality television.

So far I think the show is off to a great start. You couldn’t have scripted a more perfect opening episode (or, maybe they did script it, I don’t care). All the smack talk, all the testosterone, all the helpless female whining. All followed by such a fabulous challenge and the total upset of the women beating the men in a physical race. It was classic.

It was also beautiful and creepy and promises to get more so as the rains come in. The women are obviously going to suck worse and worse as the show goes on. Especially if they fail to get a grip on the food and shelter thing. Meanwhile, the men are going to eat each other’s egos alive and continue to be idiots. This should be great fun.

In other news, Bruce turned up. As did the wedding coordinator. Both on the same day, in fact. Draw your own conclusions.
