Thanksgiving Week

  • The Buckeyes beat Michigan! It was an incredibly good game. I nearly had a heart attack.
  • Jen’s friend Heather has a Boxer puppy who is adorable. He is my new best friend. But, like all my best friends, he lives too far away.
  • The new Harry Potter movie is excellent. The Quidditch World Cup sequence at the beginning is well worth seeing in the theater. I was so there. Sucked right into the screen.
  • No Amazing Race tonight but I guess we get a “Very Special” Law & Order SVU.
  • Thanksgiving is being held at my aunt’s house this year and there are apparently supposed to be at least 25 folks in attendence. And snow.
  • This time last year we were saying goodbye to my Grandpa Curry. Mom and Dad are up at the nursing home that time forgot (which is located on the street at the end of the universe), visiting with Grandma and probably, taking her to the cemetery.
  • Work is pretty quiet but not exactly slow, despite all the folks who are out on vacation.

Here’s wishing you all a happy holiday weekend. I’ll likely post some weekend pictures soon.

  1. Yes HP Rocked!
Glad you had fun at the game.
    I miss Grandpa so much.
I can’t wait for the “very special SVU”, I was sad they replaced Criminal Intenet with some stupid movie.
No Snow here, just sun and wind.
It looks like i’ll have to work on T-Giving, but i’m trying to get out of me.

    Have fun with the Morrison’s!!

  4. The game was amazing.

Oscar is the cutest puppy ever and he so loved Amy. They are totally BFF.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving with the crazies.

    I miss Grandpa too.

Still bitter about that. The rest was ok, but not as good as #3, but a very long shot.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  6. Bitter why?

And I really enjoyed the whole movie. Interested to hear what you disliked about it.

  7. Personally, I loved the GoF movie, despite the fact that they had to truncate the story so much. Possibly it was the extra Snapeage that did it for me, or the emergence of Lucius as a rather yummy character, or the humor (and the increased Fred and George presence). I saw it again in Vegas, and still loved it.

Come on, the sleeves scene alone was worth the price of admission.
