You know what I like?

Clean clothes.

Tomorrow is laundry day–at home!

The washer and dryer were delivered and installed yesterday afternoon without a hitch. And though I did not rush downstairs and immediately do some laundry, we did run them both to make sure that the dryer got hot and the washer got water in it.

So now the big question is, what do I wash first? Will it be whites? Will it be jeans and darks? Will it be the shower curtain? Maybe blankie? Hmmm. If I had a survey application I’d let you decide.

Brusha-Brusha

I also went to the dentist yesterday. My dentist is a character. While I was waiting for my turn with the hygienist the office manager told me that Dr. M was on the phone with Ticketmaster in the back, trying to finagle floor-level tickets for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Last time I was there he was all excited about a Toby Keith concert. This is made all the more amusing by his being a gay latino with a cute accent and a bit of a swish.

My teeth and gums are healthy and clean. Aren’t y’all just thrilled.

Laundry and oral hygiene. Another exciting blog entry from AmyMo.

Next up: Jen’s 3D Ultrasound, Chris’s 30th birthday dinner and a trip to the nursing home. This weekend will be about laundry, babies and old people. Heh.

  1. Definitely blankie. It can go in with the whites.

Bad joke to play on dentists: when they shine that big white light in your face say, “No more. I’ll talk, I’ll talk.” Works better if you are very dramatic. This always gets a chuckle. It’s probably a pity chuckle, but still.

Hug Grandma for me. I wish i lived closer.

I 2nd the blanky idea, clean blankies fresh from the dryer are the best.

  10. Your dentist sounds a lot cooler than the “stand up” dentist Shannon and I had in Atlanta for a while. There were no stools for the hygenists or dentist. Everyone stood up while working on your teeth. He had other wacky ideas, too, and was about 110. We switched pretty quickly, but the memory lingers.

  11. I vote for the shower curtain first! Loved the light idea for the Dentist-do you think Dr. Clayton would get it? I am jealous you are all eating at the Buca without me! Enjoy!
