So, AmyMo, how are the kids?

Tyler Matthew, due among us in July, likes to stick his head, or elbow, or bottom (we don’t know what it is) in Jennifer’s ribcage and is very nocturnal. He is well and if I had money to bet, I’d predict an early arrival. Which gives them very little time to annex the house and make room for all the STUFF they’re getting from assorted showers and relatives. My God. I’m going to throw myself a shower someday for no reason.

Inana Elizabeth (yes, Inana), is healthy from all reports and is slated to be with us around October 10th. Emily says she’s still having trouble keeping meals down. She doesn’t have a scanner so we won’t get to see the alien snowman ultrasounds shots they just took. Their shower will be in Chicago before long, and though I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it up for that, I’m sure I’ll blow money in that general direction. It’s hard not to buy things for babies.

My parents are on their way to Florida for their annual summer vacation. They LOVE this trip. Keep your eyes peeled for slightly drunk rock lobsters on Pass-a-grille beach next week.

The cats still shed and puke and get on my nerves.

I seem to have climbed into a bit of a blue funk lately. Nothing major or alarming, just the usual moody bullshit. Unfortunately, when this happens, I also have a tendency to ignore things like nutrition, exercise, sleep and sanity. The result usually being a massive headache or a cold or other bug. Yeah me! But I am looking forward to a long weekend, warm weather and getting out with my family and my one friend. Heh. People, I am a cranky bitch so don’t push it.

• Dana and Dan’s going away party and Chicken Curry Buffet at Aunt Lynn’s.
• Possible drunken shenanigans with KB.
• Hanging with Jennifer and probably getting some sun on this pale skin.
