We could not have asked for better weather and I could not have asked for better folks to spend the weekend with. Jamie, Zach, Keely, Captain Kirk, Scott, Anthony, Joe, Brandon–you guys rule. And Zach’s Mom rules too.
Between Pride and ComFest, this is just a terrific weekend in Columbus, and downtown is crawling with people and food and music and color.
I still don’t understand Furries, riding a bicycle in a thong, or walking topless through town, but the entertainment value goes a long way towards espousing tolerance. You can do what you want and I will support your right to do it while I’m laughing and pointing at you. I think that’s fair.

Glad you had a good time. I had a blast here. I’m with you on the furries though and I can respect some kinky shit. I just don’t get that at all. The best part was Ransom yelling “Yay Queens”. He is so cute. We had a great time and did not spend any money, the best combination in my world. Did you go to Jamie’s party?

Happy Pride. “You can do what you want and I will support your right to do it while I’m laughing and pointing at you.” - I love this - I think it applies to at least one of the photos I took during the Pride Parade.
I wish I’d had my camera to get a picture of the Episcopalian trying to give the protesters party beads. The look on the guy’s face was priceless.

Seriously. I think that is my life’s motto. I will fight for someone’s right to do whatever turns them on so long as it isn’t hurting an unwilling party, but that doesn’t mean I have to understand it or refrain from making fun of it.
