Peaceful

Honestly, last week was just about as good as it gets. There were a few times when I actually wondered if I was caught in some kind of space-time vortex and was actually living in a paralell universe or something.

In addition to spending a lot of time with my nephew and my Mom and my sister and brother-in-law, which I never get tired of doing (not to mention Mom fed us really well the whole week), but I also spent a day in Terre Haute, Indiana visiting with old friends, Myra, Ann, Fred and Jean.

I laughed a lot. I saw Alpacas. I ate and drank and ate some more. Pretty much like royalty everywhere, but especially at Fred and Jean’s.

I got to borrow a big brother, who happily took off with my truck and brought it back less than an hour later with a working air conditioning!

I held, fed, diapered and generally fussed over Tyler for as long as anyone would let me.

I took copious photographs.

A house cleaner came and CLEANED MY APARTMENT! For free! I love the company I work for.

I finally saw Serenity, which was as good as I knew it would be.

I visited at least three different parks and even did two geocaches while I was out.

I grilled.

And really, I just kinda thought I should crow about it here a little bit because lately all I seem to write here is cranky, grumpy stuff.

But for now, things are really, really nice.
