Tornado sirens are weird. And I’m kinda dumb because I really didn’t want to go to the basement and hang out. I did get all my gear and prepare to get into the closet though.

The hail was crazy loud. Some places got golf-balls, some got marbles. Listening to that stuff pinging off the windows and air conditioners was crazy. Digging back to my childhood lessons about what to do in the case of a tornado, I cracked the windows open, which resulted in all the magnets, photos and papers getting blown off my refrigerator.

Fall may have just been preempted by the fact that this storm pretty much ripped all of the leaves from the trees. I am amazed I didn’t lose power.

And in other news…LOST! Whoo-hoo!
