November 8: Guster
By AmyMo on Nov 9, 2006 in Life
Just before lunch, co-worker Courtney stopped by my desk and offerred me tickets to hear Guster at PromoWest. I love Guster. And so I went.
OSUJenn had bowling and Julie had some kind of client dinner so I went with Courtney and her friends, who seemed like good people, and then bopped around for a little while with a couple of other co-workers who happened to be there. It was a great show. The sound system seemed off though. I’m not sure they had the balance right. Or maybe the place wasn’t full enough to assist the acoustics. I don’t remember this being a problem when I saw the Indigo Girls there last year. It didn’t ruin the evening or anything, I’m just being a snob.
I didn’t make it through all the encores so I don’t know if they eventually played my favorite song, but I did get to hear them do “Come Downstairs and Say Hello,” which is my second favorite, so that was awesome. Now I want to go download some songs I’d never heard.
I have Friday off and am slated to go help London Julie find an apartment. Thursday I’m finally going to catch up with NBK after like two months of school and work and family keeping us busy.
The weekend has a myriad of possibilities and I haven’t figured out which ones I’m going to pursue yet. So there. Maybe I’ll know tomorrow.

You should start calling her “The Friend Formerly Known as London Julie.” Or TFFKaLJ for short.

Wow, do I need to book some A-Mo time weeks in advance.
Don’t forget maybe next weekend we can do pedicures. Glad you had fun last night

JMo! We will make time. Also, I am totally blowing off Grandma and Grandpa on Sunday. I probably need to call and tell them that. Whoops!
