November 22: Set the Table
By AmyMo on Nov 22, 2006 in Family, Life
I’m going to do Friday bullets, because really, in terms of my work week, today is Friday.
- Really looking forward to Morrison Thanksgiving at Aunt Kathleen’s tomorrow. And this year, if the cousins break-out the poker chips, I will give them a run for their money.
- And hey! It’s Tyler’s first Thanksgiving OUTSIDE of the womb! And apparently will also be the day he gets cereal for the first time.
- The AMAs sucked as badly as expected.
- Considering that half the company has been on vacation this week, we sure have had a lot of meetings.
- I can’t stop listening to the new Damien Rice CD despite the fact that it’s depressing as hell. It’s a tad masochistic, actually.
- The temperature has dropped to a point I don’t expect it to rebound from. I finally got the ratty cover off the bed of the truck and set the sand bags back there. Overtly acknowledging the chance of snow at any moment.
And now…A Thanksgiving Thankful List.
In 2006, I am thankful for:
- My amazing family. Every last one of them. Even (or maybe especially) the koo-koo pants ones.
- My friends, new and old. See koo-koo pants addenda above.
- My job. I mean for real. I love my job. I love this company. I love my co-workers. How cool is that?
- A working vehicle that hasn’t let me down once since Buffalo. What a damn gift that is.
- My camera. Seems silly to be thankful for an object like that but taking pictures has just about become my favorite thing to do other than drink beer. And sometimes! I do both!
- The Internet. Not only does it keep me employed, it keeps me daily in touch with all of you by way of blogs, live journals, e-mails, youtube, myspace, flickr, itunes, Hallmark, and ezboard.
- Speaking of ezboard…Room 935!
- Good health–duh. Have to say that.
- And, uhm, and YOU! You there right now reading this! I’m thankful for you too!
So there.

So sweet. Who you calling Koo Koo pants

To admit to having koo koo pants would be to confess that I’m wearing pants. Not something I am willing to do at this time, sorry.
