Survivor Predictions

Here we are at the finale of Survivor: Cook Islands, and I don’t believe I’ve written a word about this season. But it’s been a pretty good one. I like this group in the finals and with the exception of Desperation Jonathan and a couple of kooks voted out early (Cowboy?) it has been a decent group of players.
I predict Yule and Ozzie in the final two. Ozzie, because he never seems to lose lately. Yule because he has the immunity idol and is pretty much invincible until the final four. And unless Becky and Sundra completely surprise me, I don’t see them voting for him. And with that pairing, I think Ozzie will get the million. And really, he deserves it. So does Yule. I’ll be happy either way if it plays out like this.
Becky, Sundra and Adam are all kinda pointless and I don’t see a jury giving any of them the money against Yule or Ozzie, so even if I’m wrong about both of them making it to final two, I’ll be floored if neither of them does. So I can’t even begin to imagine any secondary pairings.
I think the biggest mistake in this game is that the minute anyone found out Yule had the immunity idol, he should have forced him to play it. Letting him carry that thing this far into the game falls on Becky’s shoulders and I think if she were a smarter player, she’d have made a move. As it is, I suspect at this point that she’s just playing for love. Which may be nice and all, but it doesn’t buy much, and it’s not really the point here.
And now, it’s time to vote.

Towards the end there I was worried you were going to break into a number from Chicago.

There’s never any telling when I might bust out into a musical number on the blog.
Also, that vote was as close as it gets. And making Becky sit in the final three that way and endure the fact that NOBODY voted for her, was just embarrassing–particularly on the heels of that painful fire building tie-breaker. Oy!

I see how on some previous seasons a final three vote could have been really interesting — this season just wasn’t one of them.
