Meme Thingy: 10 Things I Love
By AmyMo on Mar 16, 2007 in Life
I rarely do this but today’s bullets were lame, so I jumped on a bandwagon:
Comment and I’ll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. After, post this in your journal, and give out some letters of your own if you so desire. Or don’t - no skin off of my back.
L
Love! Oh come on. Everybody loves love! I’m especially fond of those moments of love where your heart swells unexpectedly because of a word or a gesture or a joke or a look or just a feeling.
Language: I chew on words and love other people who can wield language as a powerful and fabulous tool in the arsenal of our daily interactions.
Ladies: I would typically say women but that starts with a W. Duh.
Libraries: Despite the fact that they make me have to poop. No really. I think it’s because they make me relax. I know, I know. TMI. Imagine if I were a librarian.
Learning: Don’t. Ever. Stop.
Listerine: I know, right? I have always loved original flavored Listerine. The yellowish colored stuff. I used to swill it from the bottle and pretend it was booze in a flask. ![]()
Lazy Sundays: Probably a cheat but Sundays that don’t involve doing anything productive are some of my favorite days. Which is probably why I have a hard time going to church.
Listening: To music, to people, to ambient noise. I try really hard not to miss much.
Laptop: I do. I love my laptop. It makes me happy and completely portable.
Lens: Okay, I was starting to struggle with L words. But I really like seeing what things look like framed by my own camera lens, as well as other people’s camera lenses.

I used to work in a bookstore - people were forever asking where the bathroom was.
It’s Pavlovian - so many people read on the pooper.
No. Serious.

I’m one of those, though - I use bookstores as a good place to stop while running errands, because I know they’ll have (a) a clean bathroom, and probably (b) a baby changing table. Sometimes I’m nice and also buy something.
But, Amy - I thought you had a thing about that, and public restrooms?

I didn’t say I actually went there. Just that it induced the urge.
AmyMo | Mar 17, 2007 | Reply
Also, Christina, did you want a letter? If so, give K a swing.
