10 Things My Mother Loves, Apparently
By AmyMo on Mar 18, 2007 in Life
I gave my mother the letter F and at her request, and possibly my chagrin, I am posting them here on her behalf. Her first list was just words that start with F, not necessarily things she loves, and it included, most notably, Farts and Fat. She replaced them. And in the spirit of love I’m leaving them out.
Food: Rarely meet a food I do not like-except for beets, pickled eggs, okra and pancakes. (editor’s note: how do you even put pancakes in a list with beets and pickled eggs?)
Fantasia: Wonderful animated movie–even better if you are stoned!
Fanfare: Fun, music and drums!
Funky=What I want to be!
Fellatio: ‘Nough said. (editor’s note: Oy, too much said.)
Family: Those I love dearly.
Fantastic: Really good, exceedingly great!
Friendly: What I try to be, most of the time.
Feet: They take us where we need to go!
Festivals: Really enjoy them–especially the junk food–Rennaissance Festival is the most recent new one I have experiencwed.

Mom, that is the best list ever!!

Wait, wait, wait. She doesn’t like PANCAKES? Betsy, I’m not sure we can be friends. With ya on the beets and okra, though.

pancakes are served with Maple Syrup, traditionally-it makes me gag and I associate it with car sickness….long story

Oh, well, I’m with you, in that case. But maple syrup is generally optional; I eat mine with just butter, or fruity syrups.

Mmmmm, beets, okra AND pancakes. Can’t really speak to the fellatio… And we’re with Jennifer on Fantasia.
