Friday Bullets
By AmyMo on Mar 30, 2007 in Life
My mother asked me to post something, ANYTHING, to move her F-list down the page. So I did.
Now it’s time for the Friday bullets:
- I was in Las Vegas for a professional conference. It was excellent on all counts except for the fact that my traveling companion hated the atmosphere. I felt kinda bad for her. That city was clearly her idea of hell on earth.
- I gambled all weekend on $60. Eventually I lost it but at one point I was up to $180, so that’s not too shabby.
- Do not believe anyone who tells you that the food in Vegas is good. They can’t possibly be talking about the Strip. Gag.
- I’m still slammed at work but yesterday morning a contractor started to help with some documentation support–that should be excellent.
- My review took place. It was good.
Next up: Cramming in catch-up time with the Quartet of Doom, OSUJenn’s 30th Birthday Party! and a visit with my Sister and Tyler! And maybe even my Dad.
Listening: Sam Phillips, KT Tunstall, GooGoo Dolls, Fall Out Boy, Matt Kearney.
Reading: Eragon, Christopher Paolini.
Watching: Catch-up on Grey’s, Survivor, Lost and SVU.

hey, betsy: i increased my screen resolution so that her f-list is still visible when i load your site. heh. of course, now i need to use my glasses to read but the trade-off is worth it….
welcome home, amy!

Hooray on your review. I also had my review this week, and it was also good. I spent last week in a casino in Mississippi, and if Vegas is at all similar, I think I agree with your coworker. I think the sensory overload brings out my Asperger’s tendencies.
