Law & Order: DOA

Can we just talk for one minute about the absolute train wreck that is Law & Order: SVU? Is anyone else still watching this because honestly, it’s gotten to the point where we just tune in to mock it. Last night I literally turned on the tv and said, “Okay! Let’s continue to watch the slow and steady decline of SVU!” And at the end of the episode Ellen announced, “That was absolute crap. It was a dingleberry off of Wally’s {cat} butt.”
What really kills me is that not two hours earlier we were having dinner and watching a rerun of the show on USA Network and about 20 minutes into it I was like, “Now see! THIS is a compelling episode. THIS is good writing. What the hell is going on???”
Last season was not good. But it wasn’t painfully bad. This is just garbage. And I don’t really care because I’ve got plenty of other things to watch. I’m just kinda stunned. This show has won awards. This show was neck and neck with the original series, frequently even better. I think it’s time for lights out.
Someone tell Mariska Hargitay that there’s an opening on CSI now and she should run, not walk, directly to Jerry Bruckheimer.

I agree! SVU has been my favorite show FOREVER, but I cannot handle this silliness. Who will be in mortal peril next week???

Olivia can squeeze a bag like no other! Can we talk about how the EMT’s were useless? Such a tragedy.

I guess I’m glad that we don’t get it over here on freeview and that I’m too cheap to pay for crappy British satellite. I got so angry during the ep right before thanksgiving that I wanted to throw the remote at the tv. But I didn’t bc the tv was yours. LOL.
