Deal with it!

Another television post.
Kid Nation is the most entertaining reality show on television right now and last night’s episode made me laugh so hard I nearly hit my head on the coffee table. That is all.
For reference, here’s a list of what we’re watching, in no particular order:
Survivor
The Amazing Race
CSI
Kid Nation
Grey’s Anatomy (I can’t believe I left this off)
Bionic Woman
The aforementioned and much maligned, Law & Order SVU
House Hunters and Jeopardy (only when we’re home)
Project Runway
The best thing about that list is that we don’t have a lot to worry about with the writers strike since it’s almost all Reality or unscripted.
Additionally, season 1, disc 1 of Heroes just arrived so that should help us replace anything we lose in the Network Drama department. DVD is your best bet for getting through the lean times. Well, I mean, you could read a book too. Or play video games. Start a family Guitar Hero tournament!
It is Thursday and I have successfully packed my lunch and had dinner at home everyday this week. Tonight is traditionally pizza and beer night so instead of ordering Papa John’s we got a boboli pizza shell and are making our own. I’ll probably still get the beer. It’s cholesterol free, right?
Big shout out to NBK and her job interview today!! WoOT!

Amy,
Ed and I are also fans of Kid Nation. As it is officially The Freakishly Insanely Busy Time at Work Right Now, I am going to bed at 8ish.
Ed deferred last night’s watching of Kid Nation, so we could watch it together today (or whenever I have the energy).
I thanked him and did my best Taylor impersonation of “Deal with it!”
Rebecca
P.S. And if I misspelled “deferred,” deal with that, too.
I’m too lazy to look it up right now.

I feel that is it necessary for you to start and catch up on all of the episodes of Project Runway Canada. They’re only 8 in, and I’m loving it even more then this season of PRUSA so far.

Also, next week? Nick Verreos (Season Two) is a guest!

Did Mom really say burned my tar?

Yes, yes she did.

I suspect Bionic Woman saves a lot of money by not having writers.
It really fluffs my comforter that you’re not watching Pushing Daisies. That shows cracks me up.

Okay how in the world did you miss listing Gray’s Anatomy?
And also? What was the table-to-head-thunking part? I mean I howled at one part (during a celebration of getting a flag - one kid humping the hay…but anyway)…but I didn’t catch any part that would have elicited such a response…hmm

Oh good grief. I did leave off Greys! WTF.
The part that kills me every time is Taylor’s hissy fits. I laugh through them. This probably makes me a bad person.
However, what made me nearly fall of the table was at the very end, her little friend said that the chicken stank and then said something about maybe it Taylor that stank, and made the most perfect face EVER. I had tears. Maybe I’m crazy.
