Where is AmyMo

The following things are occupying my free time right now:
The Hyperion Trilogy: Dan Simmons
Ratchet & Clank 2: Playstation 2
The Wire: HBO
The L Word: Showtime
Project Runway: Bravo
If I’m not at work, I guarantee you I’m reading, playing or watching one of those things. Or maybe having dinner. Or sleeping.
And you’ll notice that the right navigation was recently updated on this site to include all of the various online places you can find me, as well as some new blogs links organized a little more purposefully. Not perfect yet, but shaping up.
Now that the universe of social networking has exploded here at work I’ve been trying to clean house a bit so that I don’t look like a sloppy web hack. 
The domain name has been renewed for another two years so I might as well paint and install new carpet.
I am apparently all about the home metaphors these days.

I absolutely LOVED the Hyperion trilogy!! You’re the only other person I know that has ever read those, let alone heard of them…and of course, this doesn’t surprise me.

Actually! Co-worker Jason L. recommended them to me during happy hour one night and he loved them so much he practically bullied me into reading them by bringing me the first book. I totally enjoyed it and am now starting on book 2. Hard core sci-fi but terrific character-driven narrative. Good stuff!
