I Used to be Smart and Thoughtful

There was a time in my life when I was not only interested in taking, but competent to pass a class taught by this gentleman. Now I write about Reality television, bratwurst and Garnier hair care commercials. My mother must be so proud.

I stumbled across AKMA’s blog this morning, literally, while looking for something only peripherally related (Shannon, actually). AKMA is brilliant and also very kind. He is a theologian, a philosopher and an academic. His senior seminar was challenging (hell, just reading the texts was challenging), but we always had really great discussions. That was nine years ago, for those of you keeping score.
